Loma Linda University's CSWE-accredited Master of Social Work (MSW) program has more than three decades of preparing highly skilled clinical social workers—and it offers multiple paths to get there. Whether you choose the flexible online format designed for working professionals or the immersive on-campus experience, all options share the same advanced clinical specialization, rigorous practicum training, and whole person care philosophy. You'll graduate ready to begin the LCSW licensure process in California and equipped to lead in behavioral health, healthcare, and community settings.

🔀 3 MSW Program Options

- Online MSW — Designed for working professionals and distance learners
- Advanced Standing MSW — Accelerated pathway for students with a BSW
Our graduates are recognized leaders who advance the field, enhance quality of life for individuals and families, and strengthen the systems that serve their communities. The MSW curriculum intentionally prepares students for integrative healthcare settings—developing a deep clinical understanding of the complex issues clients bring, supported by specific coursework and practicum experiences in behavioral health. This equips graduates to approach practice from a whole person perspective that bridges the often fragmented landscape of modern healthcare.
